Four years after Harper was elected, Liberals still like to console themselves that he hasn’t won a majority. But he now controls a majority on the Rights and Democracy board, and the Liberals couldn’t even slow him down.

  • What’s the big deal? Other than fact that R&D was in the newspapers lately, how many people had head of it? A molehill of losers are making a mountain out of the fact that they are having to answer questions from a new boss, a take-charge board. There is a take-charge board in the fed machinery!!! That should be the news.

  • What interested me about this article is a process that most parties engage in: stacking odds in their favour. It happens on committees, boards, etc and allows control to be effectively taken away from the group in question and handed to party leaders.
